YOUTH SPORTS DEVELOPMENT
RISE's sports programming builds discipline, teamwork, and competitive excellence through camps, clinics, and structured training for athletes of all levels.

01
RISE ACADEMY
Multi-day camps ranging from 3 days to 2 weeks, designed to give athletes sustained, structured development over time. Each day combines focused skill-building sessions with a midday break, followed by additional training — allowing athletes to build stamina, absorb coaching, and reinforce new skills within the same day. Camp themes and focus areas vary by session, giving athletes the chance to target different aspects of their game across the summer.
03
PRIVATE TRAININGS
One-on-one training sessions with Coach Chris Rodgers, tailored to each athlete's individual goals. Sessions may focus on strength and conditioning, basketball skill development, or a combination of both — built around what the athlete needs most.
05
TEAM DEVELOPMENT
Coach Rodgers works directly with school teams and outside organizations to provide professional-level coaching, strategy, and skill development — helping teams elevate their performance with expert guidance.
02
CLINICS
Single-day, focused training sessions built around one specific skill area — such as dribbling, shooting, point guard development, or footwork. Clinics are ideal for athletes looking to sharpen a specific part of their game in a concentrated, high-repetition setting.
04
GROUP TRAINING
Morning strength and conditioning sessions led by Coach Chris Rodgers, open to athletes and non-athletes alike. These sessions build foundational strength, discipline, and consistency in a group training environment.
06
AAU/CLUB BASKETBALL
RISE fields its own competitive youth basketball teams, with regular practices and tournament play during the spring and summer sessions when kids are out of school. Athletes gain the experience of structured team competition alongside the mentorship and development RISE is built on.
Educational & Community Programming
rise foundations
Beyond the court, RISE is committed to supporting the academic growth and personal development of every young person we work with.
RISE LEAdership lab
RISE hosts leadership workshops for both youth and adults, designed to build communication, decision-making, and team-building skills that extend far beyond sports. For young people, these workshops introduce foundational leadership habits early; for adults — including coaches, parents, and community members — they reinforce the same principles RISE uses to develop athletes, applied to everyday leadership roles.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
RISE after-school programs combine basketball training with academic tutoring, enrichment activities, and mentorship — giving youth a structured, supportive environment that develops both their game and their mind. Rather than treating sports and academics as separate, our after-school model integrates the two, reinforcing discipline and focus on the court and in the classroom.
MENTORSHIP INITIATIVES
RISE mentorship connects youth with coaches, mentors, and community leaders who provide guidance, accountability, and support both on and off the court. We also create space for adult mentorship — pairing experienced coaches and community members with those looking to grow in their own leadership or coaching journey — building a mentorship network that runs in both directions.
school partnerships
RISE partners with schools that lack the funding or resources to offer physical education or basketball programming on their own. By bringing coaching, equipment, and structured activity directly into schools, we help ensure that access to sports and physical development isn't limited by a school's budget.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
RISE actively engages with the communities we serve through events, partnerships, and outreach that extend our mission beyond scheduled programming. Whether through community clinics, local events, or collaboration with other organizations, RISE works to be a consistent, visible presence — not just a program that shows up during camp season.
Entrepreneurship & Life Skills
RISE prepares youth and adults for life beyond sports by building the mindset, knowledge, and tools needed to create opportunity in any path they choose.
RISE teaches leadership as a skill that applies far beyond the court: decision-making, accountability, and confidence that carry into school, work, and everyday life. Programming is designed for both youth and adults, reinforcing that leadership isn't tied to age or experience, but to mindset and practice.
Leadership Development
Financial Literacy
RISE provides financial literacy education and resources to help participants build practical, real-world money management skills — from budgeting basics to long-term financial planning. These sessions are open to both youth and adults, giving families a shared foundation for financial confidence.
RISE introduces entrepreneurial thinking as a way of approaching problems, opportunities, and goals — encouraging participants to think creatively and take initiative, whether they're building a business idea or simply learning to be more resourceful and self-directed.
Entrepreneurial Thinking
Personal Development
RISE offers resources and support designed to help participants grow outside of basketball — building confidence, discipline, and life skills that prepare them for success in whatever path they pursue, on or off the court.
Program Development & consulting
RISE partners with schools, districts, sports organizations, and community programs to create structured youth-development experiences. We design customized programs and curriculum that combine sports, education, entrepreneurship, leadership, mentorship, health and wellness, and life skills.
Whether an organization needs activities for young people, training materials for coaches and trainers, or a complete program model, RISE can develop resources that fit its goals, age groups, and community.
